Oh, the places you’ll go…
Trinity graduated its first eighth-grade class in June 2004. A total of 308 students have graduated over the past eight years (2004-2011). Over the years, our alums have chosen the following high schools:
>> Independent High Schools: 33%
(e.g., Cannon, Charlotte Christian, Charlotte Country Day, Charlotte Latin, Providence Day)
>> Independent Boarding Schools: 16%
(e.g., Christ School, Darlington, Episcopal High School, McCallie, St. Andrew’s, St. Mary’s)
>> Public High Schools: 50%
(e.g., East Mecklenburg, Myers Park, Providence High, North Mecklenburg)

What our Alums are doing…
Stuart Mason (’08), senior at Christ School in Asheville, NC, was awarded an American Visions Medal for his (functional) ‘Inspire’ guitar sculpture at the National Scholastics Competition. Stuart’s guitar was one of 200,000 entries to be recognized nationally.
His ‘Inspire’ guitar will be exhibited at Parsons New School of Design in June 2012 and Mason will be recognized at the national awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall.
Gracie Beard (’04), senior at UNC Chapel Hill, was interviewed on Carolina News 14 for her involvement and promotion of the UNC Dance Marathon. Visit UNCMarathon.org for more information and click below to view the interview:
Chanel Blanchett (‘05), sophomore at Sarah Lawrence College, was accepted into the British American Drama Academy and will study theater in London, England for her junior year.
Chris Bradham (‘09), sophomore at Myers Park High School, placed first with his team in the Odyssey of the Mind Regional Tournament and will advance to the State Competition in April.
Elizabeth Dalrymple (‘07), senior at St. Andrew’s School in Delaware, has been accepted to Wake Forest University.
John Grainger (‘07), senior at Providence Day School, will attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. John recently played Maurice in Providence Day’s production of “Beauty and the Beast.”
Brandon Johnson (‘06), freshman at East Carolina University, is currently in the biomedical engineering program and is playing club basketball at ECU.
Ben Leach (‘07), senior at East Mecklenburg High School, will attend Appalachian State University this fall.
Yasmine Mustafa (‘08), junior at West Mecklenburg High School, plays girls basketball and is the lead majorette for the band.
Nick Wall (‘06), freshman at Warren Wilson College, presented and discussed his recent experiences in Nepal with Trinity’s eighth-grade world religions class.
