Board of Trustees

Trinity Episcopal School is governed by an independent Board of Trustees. Many dedicated parents and grandparents  serve on the Board. In addition, the Board’s membership intentionally includes representation of non-parents and Episcopal laypersons and clergy. The Bishop of North Carolina appoints one member to the Board, and both the Head of School and Parents’ Association President are ex-officio members.

Friends of Trinity Board
Trinity Episcopal School’s Board of Friends provides guidance to the School in its pursuit and maintenance of those principles and values set forth in its Mission Statement by advising the Chair of the Board of Trustees, the Head of School and other Trinity officials.

Friends serve as ambassadors of Trinity to their communities and other organizations with whom they are associated; report to Trinity on matters of importance to the School community; and assist Trinity in accomplishing its long-term objectives as a Christian, K-8 independent urban school in the Episcopal tradition.
